President Jon Papke called the meeting to order at 8:00 AM.

Secretary’s Report – None, as the secretary was absent.
Treasurer’s Report - Marie King reported a balance of $113,758.51 in the checking account. Tony Rutter made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report. Chuck Eifler seconded the motion, motion passed.
AIS –Rich Kenny reported that a Little Yellow Lake land owner volunteered his property for weed harvesting equipment. It is being evaluated. Also, a property next to Chuck Eifler is also being evaluated.
Water Quality – Tony Rutter reported that 15 years of water sampling data is available. Bill Yorkson is searching for a qualified person to evaluate the data.
Water Level – Tony Rutter reported that the water level is being maintained manually from the dam at Danbury. Several people report having trouble getting boats off their boat lifts. Lake level on 7/9/16 is 929.57 feet. World Energy (RWE) is considering whether to rebuild the generator.
Meat Raffle – Tim McGannon is working on getting more volunteers for the meat raffle.
Membership – We need someone to head membership.
Website – The website description of the meat raffle needed to be updated. Jon Papke wrote the update.
Other Business – Guests John and Tanya Turner attended to describe their plan for increasing membership, raising the visibility of the YLRA, and a thank you to current YLRA members. John and Tanya propose YLRA sponsor a live music concert at the Yellow Lake Lodge. People in attendance that are not members would be encouraged to become members.
The venue for the concert was decided on the front of the Yellow Lake Lodge. John and Tanya may have access to some prizes to be given away during the concert. Ed Collova made a motion to move forward with planning and support of the concert. The motion passed. Chuck Eifler voted no by proxy.
Guests Julie and Tom Hart attended and discussed the closing at the mouth of the Jamison Lagoon. They are requesting help in getting the mouth dredged. The mouth was dredged in 1982 with help from the YLRA. Ed Collova made a motion for YLRA to request more information from Julie and Tom. The information is cost of the project, a permit from the DNR, what they can pay. YLRA may pay up to half if the cost is reasonable. The motion passed.
Japanese Knotweed - Ed Collova reported spraying was postponed last week, but will occur this week.
